I can relate to that marina, I've pretty much been an alcoholic for 20 years, it got to a point where I had to have atleast 3 to 4 liters of cider just to get to sleep and not have crazy hallucinations, lost the driving licence and stopped drinking within a couple of weeks of knowing I had to abstain for a year.. the longest id ever been without a drink for since the age of 18 was 2 weeks before I lost my licence..I've learnt from studying the last 3yrs, since my ban it really is all in the mind,, the subconscious mind it's much more powerful than the concious..you have to learn how to recondition it.. I was convinced I was addicted then as soon as I found out about the dvla medical I just stopped with absolutely no trouble.. So interesting,,..
I haven't had a drink in month's now, crazy how losing your driving licence can turn your life around hey! ..
