Reapply for licence 13 years later?? Need Help!

Hi all

My father got banned about 13 years ago due to drink driving, i was only 10 at the time, he has never reapplied for his licence as he never new how to, now hes getting older hes unable to walk far, is it still possible for him to reapply for his licence?

I would advise you to contact the DVLA in order to clarify if your father was required to take his drivng test again or if he is classed as a high risk offender. Moire information on re-applying for a driving licence after disqualification can be found here.
