Questions about likely sentencing, preparing for trial

Good afternoon,

Driving home one night after being out and crashed into a bollard. Breath reading was over 125, bloods have not yet been returned. Cooperated fully with law enforcement.


How likely is a custodial sentence in this situation? Or a curfew or similar? Worried about employment of course.

Good morning,

It is hard to say. With a high reading custody is always an option but if it is a first offence it is more likely to be a suspended sentence and a community punishment. I would recommend taking a specialist solicitor as it will make a world of difference.
