will my offence be put in the local newspaper and is there anyway i can prevent this from happening? my family is going through a rough time at the moment and dont want to add any extra stress to the situation, i have not been in court yet

It is highly likely your case will be reported in the local newspapers. You have no control over whether it does or not im afraid.
