Has anyone received their licence after DVlA saying we now accept paper application?

I sent my D1 On01/07/2020 application after I was disqualified.
Application sent by track delivery and DVLA received it but still not processing!
I understand, they said it is take longer to process.
But Any chance, any of you were lucky to got your licence back already?
Or shall I give them a call?
If so, why number?

2 weeks would have been the quickest you would have got your licence back before the Covid situation started so now with the backlog it is likely to take twice that, or more.

That’s a bloody long waiting!
I am not neither of those either by the way,
I don’t understand, why they making Thing so difficult For us!
I think, they all need to just have a look on their pc and then release our licence!
How about if we don’t hear back from them at all?
and if application gone missing
Who is gonna pay another £70?
I sent it by next day signed for
and someone has received it
But nothin yet!
They have opened pop, restaurant and blah blah
But dvla still not working properly!
This is unacceptable.

My ban ends on 2 August so I might wait a bit before pestering them, if you read their Twitter some people have been waiting for months

I sent 2 application in both tracked delivery,after 4 weeks I heard nothing so I sent one to lee jones saying I was a key worker and got my licence within 6 days.
 
i am not sure what is your situation, in terms of getting your licence back?
i was disqualified and i have to pay almost 70 quid for this, 65 for the licence and postal order fee 7-8 pounds.
if you are like me, means you lost money then?
let's say, if i have not heard anything from them.
could you please tell me the name, and what address did you send this?

I called ‭0300 790 6801‬ 50 times in last couple of days and saying this office is now closed!
Or nobody answer the phone.

Also, if you can remember at what postcode did you sent?

I didn't try to contact them, I send it to the address on the D1 form on 17/06/20, just a regular paper application. One thing try the View licence DVLA has because they update that before sending your licence, hope all goes well for you mate.

I’m Viewing It actually every single days
And nothing has changed.
Alll I see is same thing.
My old address and saying I haven’t got any driving entitlements :(
i am just so 😤 with the systems!

I know it's extremely frustrating but all you can do for now is wait, hold on in there 🙂 it will all be sorted out before you know it.

While 1000 of people are waiting
And some of them paperwork got lost by DVLA

Good morning everyone,
Woke up this morning and I logged on DVLA to view my licence and saw a good news after I sent my paper application on 01/07/2020.
at first I put my old post code and it did not come up,
Second time with old postcode.
Third time my new post code, Then I thought it could be the time
And it is YES.
All Good and now waiting to get it by post.
Question I have is, do I still need to pass CBT To ride a motorbike, even I have full licence?
