Getting licence back help!!

So I lost my provisional licence for 18 months back in February 2019. Have reapplyed for my licence this week. My alcohol reading was 75 so I don't think I will be classed has a high risk offender. Also while I'm waiting for my licence am I aloud to go out on my bike has reapplyed and ban finished october 2020. Or should I wait for my licence has been received any advise would be great.

You cannot drive a motor vehicle of any type until your licence is re-issued.

So basically have to wait for licence to come threw the post

If you check online, you will see when the licence has been re issued, and the date on it, so in theory you can drive from that date even if it hasn’t arrived yet in the post.

Yes I've tried checking online but asks for my driving licence number. Which I don't have
