When I was convicted the Sheriff said that in addition to my ban my licence would be endorsed.

On checking the DVLA website though, it makes no mention of any endorsements or penalty points. It merely says I am banned until 11th October 2021.

Does anyone know what she was alluding to (Scotland?)

The endorsement on your licence is the record of your ban, with it showing a DR10.
There are no points for drink driving.

No, the photo card is ‘dumb’. No information can be added to it. The DR10 appears on your driving licence record at DVLA (and viewable online)

That's what I always thought, but the first time I was banned, there was no mention of an Endorsement. I only remember her saying this on the second occasion. Don't worry, there won't be a third as I haven't had any alcohol since July 2019, plus I want to stay married and alive without a stake driven through my heart.
