i was stupid in a dark place and was done for drink driving i served the ban etc, but even before my ban my license was due to run out in 2023 need new photo etc but when i reaplied for my license after my ban and providing a new picture the expiry date for my license is still the same oct 2023 is this dvla just trying to get the 20 quid out or whatever it is now to renew your license ? i wasnt classed high risk no cdt test or anything you would think someone with half a brain would see the expiry date coming up submitted new pics etc kill two birds with one stone and grant the new license for the ten years or however long it is till you have to update it
