Hello I drove dangerously on A37 road but there was no accident, the lady behind me reported to the police. 10mins later police stopped me and did saliva swab which I tested positive. I was driven down to the station for blood test. I smoked cannabis 12hours ago will my blood test be over the legit . Please a quick answer will be appreciated.

If you smoked 12 hours ago it is likely you will be over but the only way to know is to wait for the results of either your own test or that of the police.

I want you to advice if I need to get a lawyer now pending when my blood result is out and how long does it take for the police to get my blood test result or should I be expecting court date next?

Only you can decide but most people wait until charged. Usually the police will take the full six months and contact you at the end.

Hello Martin, my company just issued me certificate of sponsorship I’m currently on dependent student visa, if I apply for COS, I hope home office will not refuse my application since I have not been charged nor convicted for drug driving yet. ?
