I was pulled over in September 2019, because I had something hanging down under my car. The police officer could smell cannabis, I had half unlit roll up in ashtray. So got road side tested, come back positive and was taken to police station for blood test. Then in January got court date, 27/2/2020 attended and paid £2400 for solicitor, I pleaded not guilty and am having to return on 26/5/2020 But with this whole covid 19 situation, I couldn't see that I could afford another £3000 But court has confirmed it is still going ahead. Any advice with this would be appreciated.

Solicitor really hasn't given advice....advised to plead not guilty on details we had at first hearing, then they received everything else from CPS and this was once the lockdown started and want the £3000 to give further advice just forwarded on the paperwork to myself. Don't know what to do with the information I have received
