D1 Form

Hi,

I’m able to send my D1 form off in this coming week after being disqualified, I was wondering whether I need to send off a new photograph? The photograph on my license I had before my disqualification was only a few months old, and I also have a fairly new passport.

Any advice would be appreciated

As far as I'm aware, unless the photo is over 10 years old, or you have to declare change of address, you do not need to send in a new pic

If it's under 10 years I believe they give you the option of sending one and getting a brand new license, but in view of the current situation at the DVLA i'd keep it as simple as possible and just send the filled D1 form in and hope the current delays ease soon. Also it's worth double checking the form before sending as if you make even a minor mistake they will send it back and the whole thing starts again.
