Court Request

Hi, I am due to go to Court soon to ask for early return of my license. I had a matter last year which resulted in me
being charged for an offence that was not drink/drive related. It was thrown out of Court for lack of evidence
and I was innocent. Are the CPS (Police) able to refer to this case in any way whatsoever when I put
my reasons to the Court for the revocation of the ban. Thank you.

I am pretty confident they wont refer to it if you were acquitted. Most of the time the CPS don't really make representations as it is mostly between yourself and the Magistrates. If they do refer to it, don't let it phase you, just make sure the bench understand that you were acquitted and move on.
