Court on Saturday

Convicted Driver Insurance

Hi my daughter is in court on Saturday on a drink driving charge. She's pleading guilty and plans to go with the duty solicitor. Made a one off really stupid decision to drive her car home on literally a 2 minute car journey as her friend was worse for wear and she wanted to get her home quickly. Distracted by her passenger she took her eye off the road and hit a parked car. She blew 67. My question is should she get character references and do a letter to the court herself? Obviously she's facing a ban but does good character/no previous convictions etc help? Thank you for any advice.
