Hello everyone, Great forum with excellent info/guidance.
In Jan 2019 i had a major brain fart and was caught over limit and blew 107 high, Ive done the course and my ban ended in Oct 2020. I got the ball rolling last October with all applications and medical questionaire.
My GP was written to in Feb and returned 3rd Feb (I have a copy and it clearly states that on two occasions ive been recommended to lower intake which is true. Then it also states my GP has no medical objections regarding me driving. ) I am on a very low dose of Mertrazine 1/2 tablet a day for anxiety which stemmed around my `Brain fart` Two Years ago
My question is, Is it normal to write to GP first before a medical (Still no date for this) ??
Ive totally abstained for 32 Days as of today but was drinking daily approx 1 bottle of Merlot (Red a day) too much I know
