im about to return to the u.k after living in australia for 4 years,i got caught drink driving in january 2008 and banned for 28 months with a 550 pound fine with a reading of 102 mlgrams,i left the u.k in july and when my ban was up in 2010 i applied to the D.V.L.A for my driving details which they sent over.I then swapped the paperwork for a full australian driving licence which i have used since that date,now im due back in a few weeks ive applied for my licence back and im currently waiting to hear from the D.V.L.A.Now my question is will i be able to drive legally on my australian licence up to the date i get my u.k. licence back if anyone has come across this or knows of anyone that has been in this position i would be much obliged thanks
