Thanks for this. From the recently publicity, I reckon this DVLA affair is likely to drag on into 2022.

I'm already anticipating I'll be using section 88 when my licence expires in January.

Thanks for posting, I've been reading the exact same statement from various news sites for the past couple of days but never thought to look at BBC.
