Advice on sentencing and preparing for court

Hello,

I was arrested for drink driving in April. My blood results from the station came back as 139, so 1mg into the second bracket.

I have court in December - what are the chances of me receiving community order? Do you think there is a chance of me getting less than 17months and/or being offered the course.

How many character references should I take and what sort of people do I ask? I have never done anything wrong in my life and am really nervous even though the users on this forum have been great in sharing their knowledge. I just want to be as prepared as possible so I'm not shocked.

I have a solicitor (a family friend) who is going to stand with me on the day and read for me.

Good afternoon,

I think with a good lawyer you could get back into the lowest bracket. Mitigation is the key to this.

References should number two or three and as to who, you should ask people who will say the best things about you.
