Hi, I wonder if you could give me some advice.
I made the bad judgement of deciding to drive home on Friday after drinks with a few friends and unable to get a taxi. I take full responsibility for my actions and feel dreadful about the whole affair. I just feel I have let so many people down. I blew 92 at the station. This is my first ever offence, I am in my early 50s. I would like to ask a few questions as to wether any of the below will have any bearing on my sentence.
1. I am Self employed and not having a vehicle will impact my work.
2. I very rarely drink. This was my first time in 6 weeks.
3. I have trouble with my mobility sometime and can't always walk that far.
4. I have been taking care of my elderly parents who live out of town during the pandemic.
5. I suffer from anxiety and depression.
6. Will I be asked if I would like to take a rehabilitation course as this is my first offence.
7. Should I seek legal advice or will my sentence be a forgone conclusion.
Any help would be much appreciated.
