12 months from application date, or 12 months from abstinence?

Just a quick question I'd like to ask.

I'd like to reapply for my Full UK licence so it becomes fully active again (currently revoked, not disqualified), but am wondering if DVLA are likely to expect 12 months of proof of abstinence after I make an application, or will they go from my actual abstinence date (via medical detox) which is the 25 November 2019?

I'm aware they'll ask for blood tests like FBC, LFT, CDT etc, which I'm more than prepared for.

They will look for 12 months abstinence up until your application, the clock for 12 months doesn’t start to run when you make your application or that would make it 2 years you had to show.
